A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR UNDERGROUND
ELECTRICAL CABLES, TRANSFORMERS AND RELATED
FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for underground
electrical cables, transformers and related facilities; and
WHEREAS, the ownerof said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of FREDRICKS DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, a California corporation, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for underground electrical cables, trans-
formers and related facilities, and more particularly described
as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of under-
ground electrical cables, including transformers and related
facilities under and across a portion of the Southwest quarter
of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter
of said Section 7; said Southwest corner being the inter-
section of the centerlines of Lincoln Avenue and Magnolia
Avenue; thence North 0° 13' 45" West along said centerline
of Magnolia Avenue, a distance of 601.90 feet; thence North
89° 46' 15" East 53.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence continuing along said bearing of North 89° 46' 15"
East 330.00 feet; thence South 0° 13' 45" East 65.00 feet;
thence South 89° 46' 15" West, 15.00 feet;
thence North 0° 13' 45" West, 5.00 feet;
thence North 89° 46' 15" East, 10.00 feet;
thence North 0° 13' 45" West 45.00 feet;
thence South 89° 46' 15" West, 10.00 feet;
thence North 0° 13' 45" West, 10.00 feet;
thence South 89° 46' 15" West 165.00 feet;
thence South 0° 13' 45" East, 60.00 feet;
thence South 89° 46' 15" West, 15.00 feet;
thence North 0° 13' 45" West, 5.00 feet;
thence North 89° 46' 15" East, 10.00 feet;
thence North 0° 13' 45" West, 45.00 feet;
thence South 89° 46' 15" West, 10.00 feet;
thence North 0° 13' 45" West, 10.00 feet;
thence South 89° 46' 15" West 135.00 feet to the inter-
section with the East line of Magnolia Avenue; thence North
0 13' 45" West to the True Point of Beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 11t day of February 1969.
