A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR UNDERGROUND ELEC-
TRICAL CABLES, TRANSFORMERS AND RELATED FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
underground electrical cables, transformers and related tacilit
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FREDRICKS DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, a corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
under round electrical cables, transformers and related
ac i1ities and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of
underground electrical cables, including transformers
and related facilities under and across a portion of
the Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 18, said Northeast corner
being the intersection of the centerlines of Brook
hurst Street and Orange Avenue; thence North 89° 41'
37" West along said centerline of Orange Avenue
397.03 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence
South 0° 38' 33" West 232.00 feet; thence North 89°
41' 37" West 45.00 feet; thence North 0 38' 33" East
10.00 feet; thence South 89° 41' 37" East 40.00 feet;
thence North 0° 38' 33" East 222.00 feet to the inter-
section with the centerline of Orange Avenue; thence
South 89° 41' 37" East along said centerline to the
True Point of Beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 32.00 feet lying within
the right of way of Orange Avenue.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
