A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING NO PARKING AREAS ON
PORTIONS OF STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State of
California has conducted an investigation of traffic accidents
on State College Boulevard at the intersections of Santa Ana
Street and Westport Drive, and has requested that, in order to
make improvements within said intersections, parking restrictions
be imposed on portions of State College Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California authorizes the City Council to restrict or prohibit
the parking of vehicles on a State Highway, if the resolution is
first submitted to and approved, in writing, by the Department of
Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it shall be unlawful for any person to
park or leave parked, any vehicle, at any time, on State College
Boulevard, on the west side, from 200 feet north of the center
line of Santa Ana Street to the center line of Santa Ana Street,
and on the east side, from 200 feet south of the center line of
Westport Drive to the center line of Westport Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall go
into effect immediately upon approval, in writing, by the Depart-
ment of Public Works of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of January, 1969.
