RESOLUTION NO. 66R-12l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECU'lION OF A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVI-
sIoN OF HIGHWAYS, WITH REFERENCE TO CON-
STRUCTION won ON STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 214
(LINCOLN AVENUE) . UNDER ENCROACHMENT PDMIT
NO. 765-E-764180.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways under Division of Highways. Encroachment Permit
No. 765-E-7&4l80. dated December 17, 1965, issued to Richfield
Oil Company, authorized work on State Highway Route 214
(Lincoln Avenue); and
. . .
W}1RRRAS, the Department of Public Works Division of
Highways has submitted to the City of Anaheim a Cooperative
Agreement to be entered into between the City and said Depart-
ment of Public Works, Division of Highways. providing that;
1. Allor a portion of the work authorized by said
encroachment permit is to be performed .in a portion of
said State Highway which is included in the Select System
of the City of Anaheim as established under Streets and
Highways Code Section 186.3.
2. The work authorized to be performed by said en-
croachment permit which constitutes construction or rights
of way within the meaning of Streets and Highways Code
Sections 186.3 and 186.4, shall, to the extent that it
meets the engineering standards established pursuant to
Streets and Highways Code Section 186.8, consist of the
following:
Construct base, pavement, curb and gutter, and
sidewalk.
3. The City shall furnish the Division of. Highways
with plans of the work specified in Item 2 hereof, prior
to commencement of said work.

4. The City shall advise the Division of Highways
of the completion of. said work. .
AND WHEREAS. the City Council finds that said agree- .
ment is in the best interest of the City and should be approved.
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City 01 Anaheim t'-.t the Cooperative Agreement. submitted
to the City by the Department of Public Works, Division of
Highways, and hereinabove referred to, be and the same is
hereby approved and that the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets be ~ and he is hereby, authorized to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
