A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and, convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DICK H. ABLES and
EUNICE M. ABLES, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 4 in Block 12 of
Subdivision of the South half of Section 21, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. &M., being a part of the
Fairview Colony Tract, as per Map recorded in Book 1,
page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Cerritos
Avenue and Euclid Street, formerly known as Euclid Avenue,
as shown on a Map of Tract 3446, recorded in Book 123,
pages 17, 18 and 19 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County; thence North 89° 58' 00" East along
the centerline of Cerritos Avenue a distance of 77.97
feet; thence South 0° 02' 00" East a distance of 45
feet to the beginning of a curve concave Southeasterly
and having a radius of 25 feet, a radial line bearing
North 0° 02' 00" West passes through the point of begin-
ning of said curve; thence Southwesterly and Southerly
along said curve through a central angle of 89° 58' 30"
an arc distance of 39.26 feet; thence South 89° 59' 30"
West a distance of 53 feet to the said centerline of
said Euclid Street; thence North 0° 00' 30" West along the
said centerline of said Euclid Street a distance of
69.97 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
