A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCE
MENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
INHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, One Hundred Twenty (120) proponents have filed
with the City Council a written request, requesting the consent
of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the commencement
of proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that said territory
is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim
and to the qualified electors residing within said territory to
permit said proponents to commence proceedings for the annexa-
tion of said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the conditions
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City
Planning Commission and its report and recommendations received
recommending the granting of consent to commence proceedings for
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and
it is hereby given to said proponents to commence proceedings
for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to
the City of Anaheim upon the following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said terri-
tory to the City of Anaheim shall be submitted to the Local Agency
Formation Commission by filing a notice of intention to annex
with the Commission, containing the specific boundaries of the
territory proposed to be annexed.
Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexa-
tion of said territory until after notice of intention to circu-
late such petition has been published as required by law, and a
copy of such notice and affidavit of publication has been filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10) days
after the date of publication of said notice, and a resolution
has been adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
acknowledging receipt of said notice and approving the circulation
of said petition.
Third: That the circulation of any petition for the
annexation said territory to the City of Anaheim shall not be
commenced until twenty -one (21) days after the publication of
said notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings
are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the
City of Anaheim are described as follows:
That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line of the
City of Anaheim, as established by the Brookhurst -Ball Annexa-
tion to the City of Anaheim passed by Ordinance No. 990 May 10,
1955 and filed with the Secretary of S'L:..te June 13, 1955 and re-
corded June 28, 1955 in Official Records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, said point of beginning being distant from the center-
line intersection of Brookhurst Street and Ball Road, as said
intersection is shown on a Map of Tract No. 2342, recorded in
Book 63, pages 6 and 1 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, the following courses and distances: South
89 57' 27" West 1,318.56 feet, South 0 38' 33" West, 30 feet;
thence
South 0 38' 33" West 20 feet leaving the said existing
City Limit line of the City of Anaheim along the southerly pro-
longation thereof to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 50 feet southerly of the centerline of said Ball Road; thence
Following along a portion of the southerly right of way
line of Ball Road the following courses and distances: South

1955, and recorded July 22, 1955 in Official Records of Orange
Cour :y, California; thence
North 0 37' 00" East 1350.84 feet, more or less, along
the last mentioned parallel line, being a portion of the last
mentioned existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim to
an intersection with the Westerly prolongation of the Northerly
line of Tract No. 2563, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 78,
pages 18 and 19 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; thence

Anaheim City Limit line along said prolongation and North line
of said Tract 2563 to the Northeast corner of said Tract No.
2563, said northeast corner also being the northwest corner of
Tract No. 2342, as shown on a map recorded in Book 63, pages
6 and 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia; thence
North 89 57' 48" East 659.57 feet along the North line of
said Tract 2342 to the northeast corner of said Tract No. 2342,
said northeast corner being a point in the existing City Limit
line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the North Brook
hurst Ball Annexation to the City of Anaheim passed by Ordinance
No. 1233, April 8, 1958, filed with the Secretary of State May
9, 1958, and recorded May 13, 1958 in Official Records of Orange
County, California; thence
South 0 38' 33" West 1350.72 feet along the last men-
tioned existing City Limit line and the Westerly line of the
aforementioned Brookhurst Ball Annexation, also being the
easterly line of said Tract No. 2342, and the southerly pro-
longation thereof, to the point of beginning.
