A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THAT CERTAIN
AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
ENTERED INTO ON DECEMBER 26,.1967 BETWEEN
THE CITY AND MANUEL P. MENDEZ.
WHEREAS, an agreement was entered into by and between
the City of Anaheim and Manuel P. Mendez on the 26th day of
December, 1967 wherein Manuel P. Mendez agreed to furnish to
the City of Anaheim architectural services in connection with
the construction of modifications, additions and alterations to
the Anaheim Police Department Building; and
WHEREAS, it is again necessary to increase the scope
of said construction work and this increase in the scope of said
work will necessitate additional architectural services on the
part of said architect; and
WHEREAS, the scope of said construction work has been
further increased and this increase in the scope of said work
will require additional architectural services on the part of
said Manuel P. Mendez; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend Paragraph 6 a of
said agreement entered into on December 26, 1967 to provide that
Manuel P. Mendez shall be paid a fee of $13,401.44 for his ser-
vices performed under said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Paragraph 6 -a of that certain agreement
made and entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and
Manuel P. Mendez on December 26, 1967 be amended to read as
follows:
this
"6. ARCHITECT'S FEE AND PAYMENT THEREOF.
a. CITY agrees to pay ARCHITECT for his
services performed hereunder a fee of
Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred and One
Dollar and Forty -Four Cents ($13,401.44),
said fee being the set fee for the
services rendered pursuant to this
contract."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute such amendment to said
agreement dated December 26, 1967 for and on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
24th day of December, 1968.
