A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAIN
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
storm drain purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and, convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CITY OF FULLERTON, a
municipal corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
storm drain purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 8, Tract 4703,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 169, page 26 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County; thence
North along the Northerly prolongation of the East
line of said lot, 20.00 feet, more'or less, to a point
in the North line of said land conveyed to said City
of Fullerton.
An easement and right of way for the installation and
maintenance of a storm drain under and across that
portion of the Southeast quarter of Section 34, Town-
ship 3 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M. in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
conveyed to the City of Fullerton by deed recorded
July 10, 1953 in Book 2536, page 260 of Official Records
of said county, that is included within a strip of
land 10.00 feet wide, the centerline of which is described
as follows:
Subject to covenants, conditions, restrictions, reserva-
tions, rights, rights of way and other matters of record,
if any.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of December 19 68.
