RESOLUTION NO. 68R -755
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS OF
ELECTION RETURNS OF SPECIAL BOND ELEC
TION'HELD IN SAID CITY ON November 5, 1968
The City Council of the City of Anaheim,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
Section 1. That a special bond election was duly
called and regularly held in said city on the 5th day of
1968 at which election there were submitted
to the qualified voters of said city the following proposi-
tions, to wit:
PROPOSITION T (SEWER BONDS)
To acquire and construct extensions and
additions to the sewer system of the City, shall
the City of Anaheim incur a bonded indebtedness
in the principal amount of seven hundred thousand
dollars?
PROPOSITION U (STORM DRAIN BONDS)
To acquire and construct storm drains
with appurtenances and appurtenant works, shall
the City of .Anaheim incur a bonded indebtedness
in the principal amount of four million five
hundred thousand dollars?
PROPOSITION V (PARK BONDS)
For the acquisition of land for park
sites and the acquisition and construction of
park improvements and public recreational
facilities, shall the City of Anaheim incur
a bonded indebtedness in the principal amount
of four million dollars?
PROPOSITION W (LIBRARY BONDS)
For the acquisition and construction of
two branch public libraries and additions and
improvements to the existing branch public
library, including the planting and landscap-
ing of the library grounds, provision for
vehicle parking, initial book stock, furniture,
fixtures, equipment and other property necessary
therefor, and for the acquisition of real
property for two additional branch libraries,
shall the City of Anaheim incur a bonded
indebtedness in the principal amount of seven
hundred thousand dollars?
Section 2. That the returns of said election have
been duly and regularly canvassed as provided by law, and
all absentee ballots, if any, returned have been canvassed
as provided by law, and a Certificate of the County Clerk
of the County of Orange, showing the results of the canvass
of the returns of said special bond election and the absentee
votes cast thereat, has been received.
Section 3. That the votes cast in the precincts
established for said election upon said propositions and
for and against said propositions, the absentee votes, if
any, cast upon said propositions and for and against said
propositions, and the total votes cast at said election for
and against said propositions and upon said propositions
are as follows:

Section 4. That the votes of less than two
thirds of all the voters voting at said election upon each
of said propositions were cast in favor of the adoption of
said bond proposition, and each of said bond propositions
is hereby declared to have failed to carry at said election.
Section 5. That the City Clerk of this City is
hereby directed to enter this resolution in full in the
minutes of this City Council, which entry shall constitute
the City Clerk's statement of the result of the election,
