A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
taubl ic, utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 3, Block 14
of the Golden State Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 3, said
Southeast corner being the intersection of the
centerline of Kraemer Boulevard and Coronado Street;
thence North 16° 53' 30" West along said centerline
of Kraemer Boulevard, 327.24 feet; thence South 73° 06'
58" West 20.00 feet; thence South 11 10' 52" East
281.65 feet; thence South 73° 06' 30" West 4.98 feet
to the point of beginning of a curve concave North-
westerly having a radius of 15.00 feet, a radial line
passing through said point having a bearing of North
73° 06' 30 East; thence Southerly and Westerly along
said curve through a central angle of 89° 59' 32" an
arc distance of 23.56 feet; thence South 16° 53' 02"
East 6.98 feet, thence South 67 24' 20" West 50.50
feet; thence South 16° 53' 30" East 20.00 feet to the
intersection with the centerline of Coronado Street;
thence Easterly along said centerline 118.24 feet to
the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 20.00 feet lying within
the right of way of Kraemer Boulevard and the Southerly
20.00 feet lying within Coronado Street.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ANAHEIM EQCALYPTUS WATER COMPANY
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
