A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
THOMAS H. VETTER and
GERALDTNE L. VETTER, husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 17 of Tract 2177,
as per Map recorded in Book 59, pages 36 and 37 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Sumac
Lane and Euclid Street as shown on a Map of said
Tract 2177; thence North 0° 55' 00" East along the
centerline of said Euclid Street a distance of 150
feet; thence South 89° 33' 43" East a distance of 53
feet; thence South 0° 55' 00" West a distance of 104.87
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
easterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly
and Southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 90° 28' 43" an arc distance of 23.69 feet;
thence South 0° 26' 17" West a distance of 30 feet
to the centerline of said Sumac Lane; thence North
89° 33' 43" West along the centerline of said Sumac
Lane a distance of 68.38 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($.1.00).
