A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING NO PARKING
AREAS ON PORTIONS OF STATE COLLEGE
BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State of
California has requested that, in order to provide improved
traffic handling capacity, minimize congestion and increase
safety on State College Boulevard, parking should be pro-
hibited at all times on portions of State College Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the
State of California authorizes the City Council to restrict
or prohibit the parking of vehicles on a State Highway, if
the resolution is first submitted to and approved, in writing,
by the Department of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it shall be unlawful for any person
to park or leave parked, any vehicle, at any time, on State
College Boulevard at the following locations:
State College Boulevard (State Route 250)
West Side From the south curb return of the westbound
Riverside Freeway On -Ramp southerly to a point 180 feet
southerly of the south curb return of the eastbound
Riverside Freeway Off -Ramp.
East Side From the south curb return of the westbound
Riverside Freeway Off -Ramp southerly to a point 140 feet
southerly of the south curb return of the eastbound
Riverside Freeway On -Ramp.
State College Boulevard (City Street)
West Side From a point 210 feet northerly of the north
curb return of Via Burton southerly to a point 132 feet
northerly of the north curb return of the westbound
Riverside Freeway entry ramp.
East Side From a point 270 feet northerly of the north
curb return of Via Burton southerly to the north curb
return of the eastbound Riverside Freeway exit ramp.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall go
into effect immediately upon approval, in writing, by the Depart-
ment of Public Works of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of November, 1968.
