A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GIANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CmAIB REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMDTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS 9 the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described. real property

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept 8aid offer and purchase said real property 0

An easement for road and public utility purposes over. under
and across that portion of the South 178 feet of the East
220 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 7. Township 4 South. Range
10 West. S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Rainbow Avenue
and Gilbert Street as shown on a Map of Tract 2326 recorded
in Book 73. pages 4. 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous Maps. records
of said Orange County; thence South 000 23' 35" East along
the center line of said Gilbert Street. a distance of 45.12
feet; thence South 890 36' 25" West a distance of ,30 feet to
the beginning' of a curve concave Southwesterly and having a
radius of 15 feet. a radial line bearing North 890 36' 25"
East passes through the point of beginning of said curve;
thence Northerly and Westerly along said curve through a
central a~le of 900 08' 52" an arc distance of 23.60 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 30 feet
Southerly. as measured at right angles from the center liae
of said Rainbow Avenue; thence North 000 14' 43" West a
distance of 30 feet to the center line of said Rainbow Avenue;
thence North 890 45' 17" East along the centerline of said
Rainbow Avenue to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion lying within Rainbow Avenue
on the North and Gilbert Street on the East.

ance of said p~operty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
