A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Fred R. Beckham and
Yvonne Inez Beckham, husband and wife, and Lowen V. Casey and
Louise E. Casey, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Dreyfus and others land, as shown
on a Map by William Hamel filed for record in Los Angeles
County, California, a copy of which is recorded in Book 3,
pages 163 and following, entitled "Los Angeles County Maps
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Anaheim
Boulevard, formerly known as Los Angeles Street, with the
centerline of South Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 1194,
recorded in Book 38, pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County; thence South 15° 36' 55" East along
the said centerline of Anaheim Boulevard a distance of 293.00
feet; thence Westerly as measured at right angles to the said
centerline of said Anaheim Boulevard, a distance of 45.00
feet; thence Northerly along a line parallel with the said
centerline of Anaheim Boulevard to a point 45.01 feet Southerly
as measured at right angles from the centerline of said South
Street, said point being the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Northerly, Northwesterly and Westerly along said curve through
a central angle of 90° 00' 20" an arc distance of 23.56 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 30.00 feet
Southerly as measured at right angles from the centerline of
said South Street; thence Northerly along a line parallel
with the centerline of said Anaheim Boulevard a distance of
30.00 feet to the centerline of said South Street; thence
North 74° 22' 45" East along the said centerline of said South
Street a distance of 60.00 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
