A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MAURICE GALE HARTMAN, a
married man, ZULETTA JANE HARTMAN COLLIER, a married woman,
and ET,TZARETH ANN HARTMAN TREMBLE, a married woman
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
puhlir- utility pnrpnses
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 70, Tract No. 1758, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 53, pages 19 and 20 of Miscellane-
ous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Bali Road and
Palm Street; thence South 0° 04' 25" East, along the center-
line of Palm Street, 68 feet; thence North 89" 55' 35" East
to a point on a line that is parallel with and distant 27
feet Easterly of said centerline; thence North 0° 04' 25"
East, along said parallel line, 3 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius
of 15 feet; thence Northerly and Easterly along said curve
through a central angle of 90 00' 00" an arc distance of
23.56 feet to a point on a line that is parallel with and
distant 53 feet Southerly of the centerline of Ball Road;
thence North 89° 55' 35" East, along said parallel line, a
distance of 96.24 feet; thence North 0° 14' 30" West, 53
feet to a point on the centerline of Ball Road; thence South
89° 55' 35" West, along said centerline of Ball Road, 138.08
feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
