1968-658WHEREAS, the. City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on July 9, 1968, adopt Resolution No. 68R -402 changing the
names of certain streets in the northeastern area of the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, in the second paragraph of said resolution, due
to a typographical error, it is stated that the City Planning
Commission had recommended that .the existing Sunkist Street
north of the recently completed portion of the overpass, extending
northerly from Romneya Drive, be renamed Way,'" when in
truth and in fact the City Planning Commission had recommended
that the existing Sunkist Street north of the. recently completed
portion of the overpass, extending northerly from Banyon Court,
be renamed "Sunkist Way and
WHEREAS, in Item 1 of the fourth paragraph of said
resolution there is a continuation of said typographical error
in that said Item 1 reads:
"1. The existing Sunkist Street north of the,recently
completed portion of the overpass, extending
northerly from Romneya Drive, be, and the same is
hereby renamed 'Sunkist Way';"
when in truth and in fact it should read:
"1. The existing Sunkist Street north of the recently
completed portion of the overpass, extending
northerly from Banyan Court, be, and the same is
hereby renamed 'Sunkist Way';"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 68R -402 be, and the same
is hereby amended by changing the words Romneya Drive" in the
second paragraph and in Item 1 of the fourth paragraph of said
resolution to "Banyon Court."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said
resolution be, and remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of October 1968.
