RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 648
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of E C Development Co., a
general partnership, to sell to the City of Anaheim the follow-
ing described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for municipal
purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the Jonathan Watson Tract, as per Map
filed in Book 2, page 261 of Record of Surveys, in
the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
together with that portion of Block 36 of the Yorba
Linda Tract, as per Map recorded in Book 5, page 17 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, and
that portion of the land allotted to Maria Jesus Wilson
de Shorb in the Decree of Partition of the Rancho
Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judg-
ments of the 17th Judicial District Court of California,
and that portion of the land allotted to the heirs of
Leandro Serrano in said decree, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 82, Tract
5409, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 217, pages
45 through 48, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County; thence North 56 30' 10" East
409.67 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Southeasterly and having a radius of 960 feet; thence
Northerly and Easterly along said curve through a
central angle of 23 56' 25" an arc distance of 401.12
feet to a point, a radial line bearing North 9 33' 25"
West passes through said point; thence North 80 26'
35" East 34.26 feet; thence North 9 33' 25" West 80
feet; thence South 80 26' 35" West 10.51 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence continuing South 80
26' 35" West 23.75 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of
1040 feet, a radial line bearing North 9 33' 25" West
passes through said point; thence Westerly and Souther-
ly along said curve through a central angle of 0 50'
24" an arc distance of 15.25 feet; thence North 22 41'
03" West 605.87 feet; thence North 67 18' 57" East
38.00 feet; thence South 22 41' 03" East 614.62 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
