A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT
UTILITY PURPOSES.

ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE SALVATION ARMY,
a California corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 68, Block E. of
Heimann and George's Addition Building Lots, as per
Map thereof recorded in Book 2, page 249 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning in the Southeast corner of said Lot 68, said
corner being the intersection of the Northerly right of
way line of Cypress Street, 52.50 feet wide and formerly
known as Augusta Street, with the Westerly right of way
line of Claudina Street, 52.50 feet wide, and formerly
known as Hermine Street, as shown on said Map of Heimann
and George's Addition Building Lots; thence Westerly along
the said Northerly right of way line of said Cypress
Street, a distance of 14.99 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius
of 15 feet; thence Easterly and Northerly along the arc
of said curve through a central angle of 89 57' 22" an
arc distance of 23.55 feet to an intersection with the
said Westerly right of way line of said Claudina Street;
thence Southerly along the said Westerly right of way
line of said Claudina Street a distance of 14.99 feet to
the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of October 19 68
