A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEll'1 REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR
PUBLIC vJORKS JOB NO. L~36-A.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 10th day of
November, 1959, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt Resolution No. 5621 finding and determining that public
convenience and necessity did require the construction and
completion of a public improvement, to wit: Job No. 1+36-A;
and
v;HEREAS, the City Council did thereupon fix the 3rd
day of December, 1959 at the hour of 2:00 otclock P.M. as
the date and hour for opening of bids and did thereupon
authorize and direct the City Clerk to publish a notice
according to law, inviting sealed proposals for the furnish-
ing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equipment,
and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel
ana water, and performing all work neces.sary to construct
and complete said public improvement; and
\.,HEHEAS, upon said 3rd day of December, 1959 at the
hour of 2:00 otclock P.llil., the City Clerk and the City Engineer
did open all bids received up to that hour, in public, in the
City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and the City Engineer did
tabulate all bids so received and did report the result there-
of to the City Council at its next regular meeting held on the
3th day of Decembe r, 1959; and
v;J-1EHEAS, upon thE; recommendation of the City IVianager,
the City Council does find that all bids submitted should be
rE.jected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that all bids; received up to the hour
of 2:00 otclock P.M. on December 3, 1959, tabulated by the
City Engineer and submitted to the City Council on December 8,
1959, for the construction and completion of public works
Job No. 4-36-A, be, and the same are hereby rejected.
