A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Al\AHEU'l i"INDING AND DETERIHNING THAI' A CHANGE OF
ZONE IS ~ECESSARY IN CERTAI~ AREAS OF THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
!'^.TJNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AIvlENDED ffO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONE 0
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commissi.on of the City ot: Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its inten-
tIon to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
ti oned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding ot:
a p',Jblic hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article
IX, Chapter 2 ot: the Anaheim Municipal Code.. and did duly hold and
onduct su~h public hearing to consider said proposed change ot: zone
or ~ones9 and did receive evidence and reports t:rom persons interested
therein, and
WHEREAS, witnin a period of forty (40) days t:ollowing the
Pinal hearing thereon. the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
re~sons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX. Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the
nmlndaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS. upon receipt of the report and recommendation ot:
thp City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
. 8th day of December, 19 59 , as the time and the
Council Chamber in the City Hall of thec;rty of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed change ot: zone, and did give
notice ttlereof' in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS 9 at the time and place rixed ror said publiC hear-
ing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such publiC hearing
qnd did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
beard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con=
sider the recommendations or the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does .find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a difrerent zone, as hereinarter set forth. is
more suitable ror the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
hange said property and area and that the inclusion of said property
'3nd area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of said
property and area and will not depreciate the values ot: property
n adjoining zones.
NOW, rHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of' the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim. County of Orange. State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
Lots 21 and 22 in Block B of the Center Tract,
recorded in Boo}, l~., Page 13 of fVJiscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.

be changed from R-3. MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to P-l,
AUTOMOBILE PARKING ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the sidewalk along Philadelphia Street be
repaired to conform to standard requirements of
the City of Anaheim.
2. TIlat the parking area be improved with black top
upon approval of the layout plans by the Director
of Public Works, and in accordance with standard
requirements of the City of Anaheim.
3. That a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to
the City of Anaheim be posted with the City to
guarantee the repair of the sidewalk along
Philadelphia Street and the black topping of the
parking area above mentioned.
~. That the owners of subject property pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot
for street lighting purposes.
5. That Conditions Nos. 3 and 4 be complied with
within a period of 90 days from date hereof, or
such further time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish
the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RE~OLUTION is signed and approved by me this
