A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FI~DING AND DETERMINING T!lliT A CHANGE OF
ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY,
AIm THA'r ARTIOLE IX, CHAP'rER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
I,;TJNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE A]V,ENDED 'fO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONEo
WHEREAS, the City Planning CommissJon of the City of' Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its inten-
tion to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of
a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article
IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and
onrnlct sU0h public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or 70nes. and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested
t.herein~ and
WHEREAS. within a period of forty (40) days following the
<'inal hearing thereon. the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resol'.1tion its findinp;s of facts and declare its opinions and
re8sons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX. Chapter 2
of t~e Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the
~m;ndaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS 9 upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
"hI'? City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the

"Council Chamber in the Ci ty Hall of the -mt'y of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone, and did give
notice thereor in the manner and as provided in said Article IX9
8hapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at tne time and place fixed for said publiC hear~
ng, tne City Council did duly hold and conduct such publiC hearing
'1nd did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
h~ard and did receive evidence and reports. and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, tne City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth9 is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
'~.ange said property and area and that the inclusion of said property
lnd area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of said
;:"rop'3rty and area and will not, depreciate the values or property
'n sdjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Gi ty ot' Anaheim that ail of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange. State of California. described
as follows, to wit:
That portion of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter
of Section 19, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, assid section is shown on a map recorded in book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of said section, South
00 12' 33" East 998.34 feet from the northeast corner thereof;
thence South 00 12' 33" East 110.00 feet along said east line

to an angle point on the boundary of Tract No. 2273, as per
map recorded in book 63 page 27 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said county; thence South
090 471 27" West 180.00 feet along said boundary line to an
angle point thereon; t.hence North 00 12' 33" West 105.00 feet
along said boundary line and along the boundary line of Tract
No. 2473, as per map recorded in book 72 page 27 of Miscella-
neous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county;
thence North 890 47' 27" East 5.01 feet and North 00 121 33"
West 5.00 feet along said last mentioned boundary; thence
North 890 47' 27" East 175.00 feet to the point of beginning.
be changed from R-A. RESIDENTIAL~RICULTURAL ZONE to C-l,
NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property deed to the City of
Anaheim a strip of land 60 feet in width, from the center
line of Ule street, along Brookhurst Street, for street
widening purposes.
2. (a) That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other
pertinent work be complied with as required by the
City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the office of the City
Engineer; and (b) that a bond in an amount and form
satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be posted with
the City to guarantee the installation of said
engineering requirements.
3. That the owners of subject property pay to the City of
Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street
lighting purposes.
4. That all of the above conditions, with the exception
of Condition No. 2(a), be complied with within a
period of 90 days from date hereof, or such further
time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
MuniCipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish
the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
