RESOLUTION NOo S67;
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREASg the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending
denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, after having fixed a time and place for the
holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as presoribed
in Article IXg Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Codeg and after
having duly held and conducted such public hearing to consider said
proposed change of zone or zonesg and after having reoeived evidence
and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon. the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal
resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons
for recommending denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission>> the City Council did thereupon fix the
8th day of DAcemh'f D 19-59.-D as the time and the
Council Chamber in the City Ha 1 of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article
IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hear-
ing. the City Council did duly hold and conduct suoh public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did reoeive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider
the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS. the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated to a different zone. as hereinafter set
forthg is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now
incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheimg County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
The Northerly 180 feet of that por-tioD of the North-
west quarter (ffwi) of the Northwest quarter (NWi) of
Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 11 ~vest, in the
Rancho Los Coyotes, in the Cj.ty 01~ Anaheim, County of
Oranse, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 51, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said county, described as
follows:

North 69 41' 15" East 978.00 feet from the Northwest
corner of said section; thence South 00 10' 15" East
1338.43 feet parallel with the west line of said section
to a point on the South line of the North half' (N-~) of

being North 890 37' 30" East 978.00 reet from the inter-
section of said South line with the West line of said

it is now incorporated, and that the reclassification to
HEAVY-CO}TI1ERCIAL ZONE
be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
