OF' AhAHEIH FINDING AIm DE'I'EiJi;LHNG THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CER-
TAlN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
W'rlEHEAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed
a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Hunicipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or
zones, and after having received evidence and reports from per-
sons interested therein; and
Wr~REAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending a denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt ot' the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 1st day of December, 1959, as the time and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for
a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Eunicipal Code; and
~IEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
bearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did ~ive all persons interested therein an oppor-
turnity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission; and
wnEREAS, tile City Council does find and dete~ine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from th~ zone in
which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone in which it is now
incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, 'rHEREFORE, "lE .iT RESULVED by the City Council of
the City oJ' Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, ,jounty of Orange, State of California,
described as rollows, to wit:
Lots 124 anci 125 of' 'fract No. 1951, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 63, Pages 4 and 5
of Miscellaneous Haps, Records of Orange
County, California.
remain in R-l, SINGLE-FAIvL1LY HESIDElI_.' .iAL ZONE, in which it is
now incorporated, and that the reclassification to C-l,
F-59-60-45
NE.LGHBORHOOD-COMNERCIAL ZONE, be denied as recommended by the
City .21anning Commission in its Resolut1on No. 97 __ Series
1959-1960.
