A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITL GOUNCIL OF THE CITY

CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT 3E GP~NTED IN A CER-
TAIN AREA OF THE G1TY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission or the City or
Anaheim has heretorore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial or a change in the boundaries or the zone
or zones hereinarter mentioned and described, arter having rixed
a time and place ror the holding or a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 or the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and arter having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change or zone or
zones, and arter having received evidence and reports rrom per-
30ns interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period or rorty (40) days rollowing
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by rormal resolution its rindings of racts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
\vdEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
or the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
rix the 3rd day of Novemner, 1959, as the time and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place f'or
a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give
notice thereor in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 or the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed f'or said PUGtic
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and did continue said hearing to a later date; and
~,EREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
ttle property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in
which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinarter set
forth, is more suitable for the zone in which it is now incor-
porated and that a change of zone should not be granted;
NOW, 'rHEREFORE, '3E IT f:ESOLVED by the City Council ot:
the City ot: Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, Gounty of Orange, State of California,
described as rollows:
The West 16.58 acres of the Northwest quarter
of' the Southwest quarter or Section Seven,
TOlmship Four South, Range Ten West, S. B. B. & M.
l!XGLUDING TEERE.F'ROM the South 400 feet.
remain in R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGFllCUL'l'URAL ZONE, in which it is now
incorporated, and that the reclassification to R-3, MULTIl:'LE-
F-59-60-27
FAMILi RESIDENTIAL ZONE and C-l, NE1GHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE,
be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission in
its Resolution No. 66--Series 1959-60.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day or December, 1959.
