A RESOLUT:ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANA~3IM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the

That portion of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 51, Page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said county, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of said section
with a line parallel with and distant Southwesterly 175.00 feet
from the center line of West Street, as shown on a map filed in
Book 1, Page 56 of Record of Surveys, in tile office of the County
Recorder of said county; thence Westerly along said North line to
the Northerly prolongation of the East line of Tract No. 2373, as
per map recorded in Book 68, Pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said county; thence Southerly
along said prolongation and along said East line to the Northwesterly
1 ine of the land described in the Notice of Action filed in con-
nection with Case No. 81722 of Superior Court, in and for the County
of Orange, a certified copy of said Notice was recorded April 23,
1959 in Book 4683, Page I of Official Records; thence Northeasterly
along said Northwesterly line to the Easterly line of the land
described in Parcell of the deed to Robert p. Rolls, recorded
November 25, 1957 in Book 4114, Page 481 of Official Records; thence
Northerly along said Easterly line to the Southwest Corner of the
land described in Parcel 2 of said last mentioned deed; thence
Easterly along the Southerly line of the land described in said
Parcel 2 to the Northwesterly line of the land described in said
Notice of Action; thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly
line to a line parallel with and distant Southwesterly 168.00 feet
from the center line of said \'Jest Street; thence Northwesterly along
said parallel line to a line parallel with and distant Southerly
185.00 feet from the North line of said Section 9; thence Westerly
along said parallel line to a line parallel with and distant South-
westerly 175.00 feet from said center line of West Street; thence
Northwesterly along said parallel line to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
