RESOLUTION NO. 66R- 189
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT ASSIGNING TO ALLSTATE SAVINGS AND
l.OAN ASSOCIATION ALL RIGHTS WHICH THE CITY
MAY POSSESS PURSUANT TO CERTAIN BONDS.
WHEREAS, in consideration of the deposit of Twelve
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($12,500.00) by Allstate Savings
and Loan Association, for the benefit of the City of Anaheim,
pursuant to that certain agreement dated December 28, 1965 and
executed by Allstate Savings and Loan Association to guarantee
installation of certain public improvements for the construction
of streets, including excavating, paving! curbs, gutters, side-
walk and approaches. and for other misce laneous engineering
requirements as well as for the construction of a 6-foot masonry
wall as all such improvements are specified in Reclassification
163-64-16 as said reclassification has heretofore been approved
by Resolution No. 63R-8l5 of the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, Allstate Savings and Loan Association has requested
that the City assign to it all rights which the city may possess
pursuant to Bond No. S1482773 and Bond No. S1482774 each of
which is dated June 19, 1964 and properly executed by Anaheim
Gardens, a limited partnership, as principal, and The Fidelity
and Casualty Company of New York, a corporation, as Surety; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said sum of
$12,500.00, in the form of a Time Deposit Certificate has been
received by the Finance Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City. Council
of the City o! Anaheim t~t the Mayor and City' -Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized to execute an agreement for and on behalf
of the City of Anaheim, assigning to Allstate Savings and Loan
Association all rights which the City may possess pursuant to
Bond No. S1482773 and Bond No. S1482774 each of which is dated
June 19, 1964 and properly executed by Anaheim Gardens, a
limited partnership, as principal, and The Fidelity and Casualty
Company of New York, a corporation, as Surety.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 15th day of March, 1966.
