A RESOLUT:ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
COIWEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the
desirous of purchasing
municipal purposes, to
utility purposes
City Council of the City of Anaheim is
the hereinafter described real property
wit: An easement for road and public

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to tEe City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of S.Q.R. ~~ND CO.. A COR~ORATION,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for ease nt for road and ublic utilit ur oses
and more particu ar y escribed as 0 ows:
The Southerly 53.00 feet and the Westerly 32.00 feet of
that portion of Lot 27 of Anaheim Extension as shown on
a map made by Wm. Hamel in 1868 and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles CountYI Californial
bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 271 said
corner being at the intersection of the center lines of
those public highways known as Palm Street and Ball Roadl
and running thence Easterly along the Southerly line of
said Lot, 775.85 feet to the Southeasterly corner of the
land described as Parcell in Certificate of Title No. 77241
issued March 22, 1937 by the Registrar of Titles of said
Orange County; thence North 150 24' West along the Easterly
line of said parcel of landl 701.50 feet; thence Southwesterly
in a direct line 752.92 feet to a point in the Westerly line
of said Lot 27, which is distant thereon North 150 57' West
494.00 feet from the point of beginning; thence South
150 57' East along said Westerly line 494.00 feet to the
