RESOLUTIO~ NO. 5636
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
3920 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO.
F-56-57-72.
WhEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
June II, 1957 adopt Resolution No. 3920, in reclassification
proceedings No. F-56-57-72 upon application from Bert Arnold
for a change of zone of certain real property therein described;
and
WHEREAS, Conditions Nos. 1 and 2 of said resolution
read as follows:
"1. That the owners of the property being reclassified
along La Palma Avenue dedicate to the City of
Anaheim a strip of land 50 feet in width from the
center line of the street, in front of the prop-
erty being reclassified, and improve a 32-foot
travelway along said street.
"2. That a 24-foot travelway, commencing at the east
line of the property being reclassified, be im-
proved through to North East Street, upon and
along the easement owned by the City, as specified
by the City Engineer."
AND WHEREAS, the owners of the property proposed to be
reclassified have requested that the improvements provided for in
Conditions Nos. 1 and 2 above mentioned, be deferred until the
property is developed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said request
should be granted and said conditions amended to provide that
said improvements be made at the time the property is developed;
and
~~EAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zone
and completing said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 3920 in reclassification
proceedings No. F-56-57-72 be, and the same is hereby amendeq as
f'ollows:
(a) That Condition No. 1 of said resolution be
amended to read:
"1. That the owners of the property being
reclassified along La Palma Avenue dedicate
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 50
feet in width from the center line of the
