RESOLUTION NO. 5633
A RESOLUTION OF ~{E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINTIING AND DETEffi~INING
THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED
IN A CERTAIN AREA OF IrHE CITY HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission or the City or
Anaheim has heretorore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial or a change in the boundaries or the zone
or zones hereinarter mentioned and described, arter having rixed
a time and place ror the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 or the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and arter having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change or zone or
zones, and arter having received evidence and reports rrom per-
sons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of rorty (40) days rollowing
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its rindings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons ror recommending denial or said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
rix the 17th day or November, 1959, as the time and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall or the City of Anaheim as the place ror
a public hearing upon said proposed change or zone and did give
notice there or in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place rixed ror said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations or the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed rrom the zone in
which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinarter set
rorth, is more suitable ror the zone in which it is now incor-
porated and that a change of zone should not be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councilor
the City or Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim. County or Orange, State of Calirornia,
described as follows:
Lot 24, in Block "B" of Tract No. 374, as per
map thereof recorded in Book 15, Page 28,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,

remain in R-l, SINGLE-FM~ILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, in which it is
now incorporated, and that the reclassification to R-2, TWO-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the City
Planning Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of November, 1959.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
