A RESULUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEHi ANENDING RESOLU'I'ION NO. 4376 BY CORRECT-
ING THE DESCRIP'l'ION OF THE REAL PROPERTY CON-
TAIl~ED THEREIN AbrD AUTHORIZING TF..E EXECUTION OF
A CO~VEYANCE THEREOF.
m:EREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
February 18, 1958, adopt Resolution No. 4376 accepting the
offer of Rowland & Johnston, a Partnership, composed of Danny
Lee Rowland and Fred V. Johnston, to purchase the property
described in said resolution for the sum of $1,173.00 cash,
lawful money of the United States, upon the terms and conditions
set forth therein, said sum to be deposited in escrow at Grover
Escrow Corporation, 111 South Illinois Street, Anaheim, Cali-
forni~ and paid to the City at the close of escrow; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said escrow has
Dot been closed and that said Sllm has not been paid to the City
nor has a conveyance of said property been made; and
mIEREAS, the City Council does further find that the
real property proposed to be sold to said Rowland & Johnston
was incorrectly described in Resolution No. 4376, and that said
T'esolution should, therefore, '0e amended and the description of
the property corrected to conform to the record of survey of
said real property;
N01v. 'rUEREPORE, E.i.2; 1'1' RESULVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 4376 be and the same is
hereby amended by correcting the description of the real prop-
erty contained in said resolution to read as follows: All that
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of'
Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Lot 39 of Anaheim ExtenSion,
as shown on a map made by William Hamel filed
in Book 3, page 163, records of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 39 of'
Anaheim Extension said Northwest corner being
the intersection of the center line of La Palma
Avenue, with the center line of West Street,
thence Easterly along the North line or said
Lot 39, a distance of' 469.35 f'eet to the true
point of beginning, thence S 150 23' 50" E a
distance of 110.2S feet, thence N 720 411 37"
E a distance of 100.06 feet, thence N 150 23' 50"
W to the Nort~ line of said Lot 39, thence
Westerly along the Nort~ line of said Lot 39 to
the true point of beginning.
Excepting there.from the l~ortherly 50.00 feet as
measured at right ansles From the North line of
said Lot 39.

A1~ B~ IT FURTHER HESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and they are hereb;y authorized to execute a good and
sufficient deed conveying the real property hereinabove
described to Rowland & Johnston, a Partnership, composed of
Danny Lee Rowland and Fred V. ,Tohnston, and to deli vel" said
deed into escrow at Grover Escrow Corporation, 111 South
Illinois Street, Anaheim, Calif'ornia, to be delivered to said
Rowland & Johnston upon completion of said escrow and payment
of the full purchase price as provided in said Resolution No.

AND 3E IT FURTHER P.ESOLVED that the City Clerk be"
~nd she is hereby, authorized and directed to certify a copy
of this resolution and cause the same to be attached to the
deed to be executed by the Hayor and the City Clerk on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
