66-356WHEREAS, on the 7th day of July, 1964, the City
Council of the City of Anaheim did pass its resolution desig-
nated Resolution No. 64R -476 approving and authorizing the
execution of an agreement with the Anaheim Union Water Company;
and
WHEREAS, in connection with said resolution and agree-
ment, Anaheim Union Water Company did execute a deed in favor of
the City of Anaheim of all of its properties within the City
limits of the City of Anaheim, reserving therefrom one parcel of
property; and
WHEREAS, it was the intention of both the City of
Anaheim and the Anaheim Union Water Company to reserve from said
deed the property upon which is located the offices of the
Anaheim Union Water Company, while in truth and in fact said
reservation did hold out an eight foot alley to the rear of
said water company offices; and
WHEREAS, to correct the inadvertent error in descrip-
tion in said deed, it is in the interests of both the City of
Anaheim and the Anaheim Union Water Company that the City of
Anaheim execute and deliver to the Anaheim Union Water Company
its quitclaim deed to the property on which the offices of
Anaheim Union Water Company are located.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it execute, and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, a quitclaim
deed on behalf of the City of Anaheim in favor of the Anaheim
Union Water Company covering the property described in that
certain deed recorded October 16, 1907 in Book 156, page 396
of Deeds, Records of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
