RESOLUTION NO. 86R- 035
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85R-268
WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR
CLASSES DESIGNATED AS MIDDLE MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated January 21, 1986 that bilingual pay be added to Resolution
No. 85R-268; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 85R-268 which established rates of compensation for classes designated as
Middle Management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
That effective October 4, 1985, Section 8A is hereby added to
Resolution 85R-268 to read as follows:
"8A. Employees required to speak, read and/or write in Spaliish or other
languages as well as English as part of the regular duties of their position
will be compensated at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per pay period
in addition to their regular pay. The appropriate department head shall
designate which positions shall be assigned bilingual d~ties and which
languages shall be eligible for bilingual pay."
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except to the extent amended,
Resolution No. 85R-268 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
