A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO.
45 TO CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST TO ADD CLASS-
:=tCOMS AND A LARGER AUDITORIUM ON PROPERTY
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did receive an application from the Central Church
of Christ, 1590 West Ball Road, Anaheim, California, for a
Special Use Permit to construct classrooms and a larger audi-
torium on the following described property situated in the
Ci ty of Anaheirr, County of Orange, State of Cal ifornia, to wit:

JU'ID 'rJHEREAS, the Ci ty Planning Cornmiss ion did hold
a public hearing at the City Hall in th8 City of Anaheim upon
said application on August 3, 1959, notices of which said
public hearing were duly given as required by law and the pro-
visions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Con~ission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 27 -- Series
1959-60, granting Special Use Permit No. ~5, upon the conditions
therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the City
Planning Corrunission in granting said Special Use Permit and did
thereupon fix the 1st day of September, 1959, as the time and
the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as
the place for a public hearing upon said Special Use Permit,
and notice of such publiC hearing was duly given as required
by law and the prOVisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
'dHEHEAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and
did continue said hearin0 to a later date; and

~~IERSAS, the City Council finds, after careful con-
sideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commis-
sion and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that
said Special Use Permit should be granted upon the terms and
conditions hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFOllli, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission granting said Special Use Permit, be, and the same is
hereby approved, and that Special Use Permit No. h5, be, and
the same is hereby granted to the Central Church of Christ,
1590 West 3all Road, Anaheim, California, to construct class-
rooms and a larger auditorium on the property hereinabove
described, subject to the following conditions:
1.
That the buildinf!s be constructed in accordance
with the plans this day submitted to the City
Council dated November 3, 1959, and signed by
Nr. James C. Dixon.
2.
That the owner of the property deed to the City
of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width,
from the center line of the street, along Ball
Road for street widening purposes.
3.
That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street gradinG and pavine, drainage facilities,
or other pertinent work be complied with as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file
in the office of the City Engineer; and that a
bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the
City of Anaheim be posted with the City to
guarantee the installation of said engineering
requirements.
4. That the owner of the property pay to the City
or Anaheim the sum of :;;;2.00 per front foot for
street lighting purposes.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
such Special Use Permit for good cause or failure of said owner,
its successors or assigns to comply with the Anaheim Municipal
Code and regulations and the conditions herein.
