A RESOLUT:ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CrTY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEynm TO 'rHE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the

WHEREAS, the City Counei 1 of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefi t and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of WALTER C. BARBER AND LORA M.
~ARBER, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California.
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 50.00 feet of that portion of Lot 7
of Anaheim Extension as shown on a map made by William Hamel,
on file in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County. California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Placentia
Avenue, with the centerline of the right-of-way of the Anaheim
Union Water Company, as said right-of-way was established by a
judgment rendered by the Superior Court of the State of
California in and for the County of Orange by Case No. 6468, a
certified copy of said judgment having been recorded March 7,
1916, in Book 281, Page 126 of Deeds; thence N. 00 07' 25" E.
along the centerline of said Placentia Avenue 91.5 feet;
thence S. 1310 43' 25" W. parallel with the centerline of said
Anaheim Union Water Company right-of-way 156.00 feet; thence
N. 00 07' 25" E. parallel with the centerline of Placentia
Avenue to the Southerly line of land conveyed to J. F. Burgess
and wife by deed recorded July 7, 1948, and filed in Book
1666, Page 467, Official Hecords; thence S. 740 33' 10" W. along
said Southerly line to an angle point therein; thence S. 00 36'
25" W. 225.00 feet to the most Southerly corner of said land
conveyed to J. F. Burgess, said Southerly corner being also
in the centerline of said Anaheim Union Water Company right-of-
way; thence N. clIO 43' 25" E. along said centerline 253.00
feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom any portion included within the right-of-
way of the said Anaheim Union Water Company.
be. and the same is hereby. accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
