A RESOLUT ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING A REFUND TO COALSON C.
MORRIS, JAMES L. MORRIS AND ARVAL MORRIS OF
THE BALANCE OF THE UNUSED FUNDS DEPOSITED BY
THEM FOR CONSTRUCT ION OF A SEWER MAIN ALONG
SOUTH STREET NECESSARY TO SERVE TRACT NO. 1696.
WHEREAS, Coalson C. Morris, James L. Morris and
Arval Morris have heretofore deposited with the City of
Anaheim the sum of $5,369.00 as security for the construc-
tion and installation of a sewer main along South Street
necessary to serve Tract No. 1696; and
WHEREAS, it was previously determined by the City
Council that the sum of $1,190.79 should be retained by the
City from the funds so deposited by the parties above-
mentioned as security for the construction, installation and
completion of a sewer main along South Street necessary to
serve Tract No. 1696, to cover the proportionate share of
the costs to be borne by the property directly across South
Street from said tract, and that the sum of $2,987.42 should
be refunded, which refund has heretofore been made; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the property
directly across South Street from Tract No. 1696 is now
being developed and that said sum of $1,190.79, retained by
the City, should be refunded to Coalson C. Morris, James L.
Morris and Arval Morris.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the sum of $1,190.79, retained
by the City Council from the funds deposited by Coalson C.
Morris, James L. Morris and Arval Morris as security for the
construction, installation and completion of a sewer main
along South Street necessary to serve Tract No. 1696, to
cover the proportionate share of the costs to be borne by
the property directly across South Street from said tract,
be refunded to the said Coalson C. Morris, James L. Morris
and Arval Morris.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 13th day of October, 1959.
