RESOLUTION NO. 5552
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A 20-MINUTE CURB
PARKING ZONE IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING
AT 613 WEST CENTER STREET IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, Section 3271 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
authorizes the City Council to establish, by resolution, twenty
(20) minute parking limits on any street or portion of street
within the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that limited parking should be established in front of the
Shellstone Apartment Motel at 613 West Center Street, Anaheim,
California, in order to provide parking space for the business
vi sitors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that no operator of any vehicle shall
park or leave standing such vehicle for a longer period than
twenty (20) minutes of any day, except Sundays and holidays,
on that portion of the north side of Center Street for the
length of a single parking stall having frontage at 613 West
Center Street, measuring in distance approximately twenty-
two (22) feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to place and maintain upon the curb surface within
said area, green paint or other green material, and to letter
thereon in white or aluminum colored paint, the following
wo rd s:
"PARKING LIMIT - 20 MINUTES"
and to further erect signs at such location designating said
twenty (20) minute parking limit all in conformity with the
regulations of the California Vehicle Code as to size, design
and color.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
