RESOLUTION NO. 86R-94
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE RIDING AND HIKING
TRAILS PORTION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE
AND MANAGEMENT ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL
PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 207.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of February, 1986, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing which was continued from the 20th day of January, 1986, to
consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan Amendment
does consider changing the Riding and Hiking Trails portion of the
Environmental Resources and Management Element deleting the Nohl
Ranch Trail, a portion of Four Corners Trail and a portion of the
Lakeview Trail as shown on Exhibit "B" to the Amendment; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC86-35 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 207 be adopted by the City
Council in accordance with Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 18th day of
March, 1986, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 207 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 207 amending the Riding and Hiking Trails portion of
the Environmental Resources and Management Element in accordance
with Exhibit "B" on file with the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 207 to the General Plan be
amended in accordance with Exhibit "B" on file with the City be,
and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 207 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 18th day of March, 1986.
