59R-5539 RESOLUTION NO. 5539 -- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAn .AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the desirous or ~rchasing municipal purposes. to utility purposes City Council of the City of Anaheim is the hereinafter described real property wit: An easement for road and Dublie for ; and WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha~ offered to sell and convey the same to tEe City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City or Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councilor the City of Anaheim that the offer or B. Neal Beaver & Virainia Beaver, husband & wife; and Earl A. Dunn & Martha Dunn. husband & wffp., to sell to the City of' Anaheim the f'ollowing described real property situated in the City of' Anaheim, County or Orange, State of' California, to be used ror road and public uti 1 it{ purposes , and more particularly described as f'ol ows: An easement for road and public uti lity purposes over, under and across the Westerly 23.00 feet of that parcel of land described as follows: That portion of Lot 5 of Block 17 of a Subdivision of the South half of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M., as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, Page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, a portion of said Lot 5 also being shown on a map of Tract No. 2177, recorded in Book 59, Pages 36 and 37 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southerly 260.00 feet of said Lot .s; thence South 89041 '50ft East 255.01 feet parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot 5 to a line parallel with and distant Easterly 255.00 feet, mp8sured at right angles, from the Westerly line of said Lot 5; thence North 0055'00" East 102.26 feet along said parallel line to the Southerly line of Lot 21 of said Tract No. 2177; thence North 89033'43" West 255.01 feet along said Southerly line and its Westerly prolongation to the Westerly 1 ine of said Lot 5; thence South 0055'00" West 102.85 feet to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Councilor the City or Anaheim. and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance or said propertyo -1- .
