A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
.AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the
desirous of purchasing
municipal purposes, to
utility purposes
City Councilor the City of Anaheim is
the hereinafter described real property
wit: An easement for road and public

for
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha~ offered to
sell and convey the same to tEe City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of Hulen E. Slavton and Hester YounQ
Slayton. husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of' Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for road and public utilit1 purposes

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly three (3) feet of the Westerly 53.00
feet of that parcel of land described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line of Lot
25 of the Anaheim Extension, as shown on a map of Survey made
by William Hamel in 1868 and filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of Los Arlgeles County, and the Westerly prolongation
of the Southerly line of Lot 2 of Tract 1379, as shown on a map
in Book 43, Page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County; thence

Easterly along said Southerly line and its Westerly pro-
longation to the Southeast corner of Lot 3 of said Tract
1379; thence
South 15032'15" East, 22.18 feet; thence
North 74027'45" East, 112 feet to the Northwest corner
of Lot 42 of said Tract 1379; thence
Southerly to the Southwest corner of said Lot 42; thence
South 74013'45" East 437 feet, more or less, to the West
line of said Lot 25; thence
Northerly along said West line 122 feet, more or less, to

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General ~lnds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of. One Dollar ($l.OO).
