RESOLUTION NO. 5520
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREA~, the City Counci 1 of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real
property for municipal purposes, to wit: a well site, and
did heretofore accept a deed purporting to describe said
property; and
WHEREAS, said deed heretofore accepted by the City
of Anaheim contained an ambiguous or erroneous description
of the property intended to be conveyed by Romneya Drive
Mutual Water Company, the owner thereof, to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheirr that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of Lot Ten of the Miles Rancho,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, Page 7
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said
Lot Ten, distant Westerly 154.32 feet from the
Northeast corner of said Lot Ten; thence West,
along the said North line 12 feet; thence
South 85 feet; thence East, parallel with said
Northerly line, 12 feet; thence North 85 feet
to the point of beginning.
6UBJECT TO all covencmt~, conditions, restric-
tions, reservations, rights, rights of way and
easements now of record, if any.
This deed is executed to clarify or correct
the description in that certain deed from
ROMNEYA DRIVE MUTIJAL WATER COr-1PANY to CITY
OF ANAHEIM, dated June 18, 1959, recorded
in Book 4852, Page 418 of Official Records
of Orange County, Calif.")!^;1ia, on August 24,
1959.
to the City of Anaheim be, and the same is hereby, accepted,
and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General ~lnds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
