A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CI TY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLI C UTI LI TY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of RAY ALFORD GAMBLE and ISABEL
FOSTER GAMBLE, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described
as follows:

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the southerly 45 feet of the following described parcels
of land:
PARCEL A: That portion of the Southeast quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 14, township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.B.&M.,
in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51,
Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of said northeast
quarter of Section 14, distant SOUTH 89035'38" west 1169.00 feet
from the southeast corner of said northeast quarter; thence north
0016'51" west 360.02 feet to the southeasterly line of land des-
cribed as Parcel 528 in the deed to the Orange County Flood Con-
trol District recorded on November 21, 1958 in Book 4490, Page 449
of Official Records; thence south 67048'31" west 151.31 feet along
said southeasterly line; thence south 0016'51" East 303.86 feet to
said south line; thence north 80035'38" east 140.38 feet to the
point of beginning.
PARCEL B: That portion of the south half of the Northeast quarter
of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 11 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of said northeast
quarter of Section 14, distant south 89035'38" west 1309.38 feet
from the southeast corner of said northeast quarter; thence north
0016'51" west 303.86 feet to the southeasterly line of land des-
cribed as Parcel 528 in the deed to the Orange County Flood Control
District recorded on November 21, 1958 in Book 4490, Page 449 of
Official Records; thence South 67048'31" West 151.31 feet along
said southeasterly line to the west line of land described in the
deed to Ray Alford Gamble and Wife, recorded on July 18, 1944 in
Book 1263, page 233 of Official Records; thence South 0016'51"
east 247.71 feet to the southwest corner of said land of Gamble,
being a point on the south line of said northeast quarter; thence
north 89035'38" east 140.38 feet to the point of beginning.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor or the City
or Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out or General ~lnds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum or One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
