RES OLU TI ON NO. 5487
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of' the City of'
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution de-
elaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and did fix a time and
plaee for the holding of' a public hearing thereon in the manner
and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider
said proposed change of zone or zone~and did reeeive evidence and
reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announee by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim MuniCipal Code to effect the proposed
ehanges in the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of' the report and reeommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 15th day of September , 19~, as the time and
the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the
plaee for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place f'ixed f'or said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in
whieh it is now situated to a diff'erent zone or zones, as herein-
after set f'orth, is more suitable f'or the zone in which it is now
incorporated, and that a change of' zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of' the property and area situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of' Orange, State of' Calif'ornia,
deseribed as follows, to wit:

That portion of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California described as follows:
Beginning 40.392 chains South and 30.00 feet West of
the Northeast corner of said Section 17 and thence West
9.565 chains; thence South 6.27 chains; thence East
9.56 chains and thence North 6.27 chains to the place
of beginning.

it is now incorporated, and that the reclassif'ication to C-l.
