A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AJID DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY, .AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAl. CODE SHOULD BE
AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE;
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 5403.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on August 4, 1959, adopt Resolution No. 5403 in reclassifi-
cation proceedings No. F-58-59-ll5 finding and determining
that the property and area described in said resolution
should not be changed from R-l, Single-Family Residential
Zone to C-l, Neighborhood-Commercial Zone, as requested by
the applicantsand recommended by the City Planning Commis-
sion, but should remain in R-l, Single-Family Residential
Zone; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, upon receipt of a written
request from the applicants for reconsideration of their
application for a change of zone, the City Council did set
said proposed change of zone for a public hearing on Septem-
ber 8, 1959, and did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing on said date, and did receive additional evidence
and information; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Resolution
No. 5403 should be rescinded, and that the property and
area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it is
now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is pro-
posed to change said property and area, and that the in-
clusion of said property and area in such new zone or zones
will increase the value of said property and area and will
not depreciate the values of property in adjoining zones.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the property and
area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows, to wit:
The West 194.00 feet of the following described
parcel of land:
The North 10 acres of the South 20 acres of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. &. M.
EXCEPTING the North 100.00 feet.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following: Beginning
at a point on the Westerly line of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 21, distant North 561.22
feet from the Southwest corner of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 21; thence North 890 58' 00"
East 194.00 feet; thence South 60.00 feet; thence

South 890 58' 00" West 126.01 feet to the begin-
ning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Westerly,
Southwesterly and Southerly along said curve
through a central angle of 89. 581 00" a dis-
tance of 23.55 feet; thence West 53.00 feet to
the Westerly line of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 21; thence North 74.96 feet to
the point of beginning.
be changed from R-l, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C-l,
NEIGHBORHOOD-COMdERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property place
of record standard City of Anaheim C-l
Deed Restrictions, approved by the City
Attorney, which restrictions shall limit
the use of the property to profeSSional
offices.
2. That the owners of subject property pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per
front foot for street lighting purposes.
3. That both of the above conditions be com-
plied with within a period of 90 days from
date hereof, or such further time as the
City Council may grant.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and
submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the object herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
