AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 4, CHAPTER 4.04, BY
ADDING THERETO SECTION 4.04.135 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO SERVICE STATION SIGNS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.04, Section 4.04.135 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding thereto Section 4.04.135 to read as follows:
"SECTION 4.04.135 MANDATORY POSTING OF PRICE SIGNS
AT SERVICE STATIONS IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
All service stations as defined in Anaheim Municipal
Code Section 18.01.200 shall post the price of motor
fuels at each station in the City at a location
clearly visible to motorists using the service
station and no price shall be posted which is not
the correct current price of any said fuels. Any
prices posted for said fuels which do not show the
correct current price of said fuels shall be removed
immediately.
Any person, firm, corporation or partnership violating
this section shall be punished in accordance with the
provisions of Section 1.01.390 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
