RESOLUTION NO. 5456
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5264 IN
RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO. F-58-59-89.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
heretofore to wit, on the 2nd day of June, 1959, adopt Resolution
No. 5264 in Reclassification Proceedings No. F-58-59-89, finding
and determining that the East 200 feet of the property therein
described, except certain areas excluded therefrom, should be
changed from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C-2, GENERAL-
COMMERCIAL ZONE upon the conditions set forth in said resolution,
and that action on the remainder of said property should be de-
ferred until a later date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an error was made
in describing the areas excepted from the East 200 feet of the
property described in Resolution No. 5264, and that said reso-
lution should, therefore, be amended and said description cor-
rected; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zone
and completing said reclassification proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 5264 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. F-58-59-89 be, and the same is hereby, amended
by correcting the description of the property to read as follows:
All that real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
The East 200 feet of the South 5 acres of the East
half of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 11 West,
S.B.B. & M., EXCEPTING those portions deeded to the
state of California for road purposes;
EXCEPTING ALSO the Southerly 125 feet of the above
described property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said
Resolution No. 5264 be, and remain in full force and effect.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the
City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish
the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of August, 1959.
