RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN
STREETS IN VARIOUS AREAS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that certain street names
in various areas of the City have been duplicated, due in a large
measure to the annexation of new territories to the City, and that
these duplications in street names are confusing to the public,
the Aftaheim POst Office Department, the Fire Department and the
Police Departaent; and
WHEREAS, after a thorough study of the matter, and upon
the reco..endation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council
does find that public convenience and necessity require that the
n.-es of certain streets in various areas of the City, as herein-
after set forth, be changed to avoid confusion and inconvenience;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the names of the following streets in various
areas of the City of Anaheim, be, and the same are hereby, changed
to the names listed opposite thereto:
RUTH STREET
