A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A PETITION FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, DESIGNATING THE TERRITORY
AS THE CHAPfl.1AN-HARBOR BOULEVARD ANNEXATION
; DESORIBING
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED AND GIVING NOTIOE OF THE DAY, HOUR AND
PLAOE WHERE AND WHEN ANY PERSON OWNING REAL
PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH TERRITORY SO PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED KAY .APPEAR BEFORE THE CITY COUNCn. AND
SHOW CAUSE WHY SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE
ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 18th day of .AuQust . 19-5..9-. receive a written
petition asking that oertain new territory desoribed in said petition
be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS. before the filing of said petition, the proposal
for the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City
of Anaheim was submitted to the Boundary Commission of the County of
Orange, State of California, and reported upon by said Boundary
Commission with respeot to the definiteness and certainty of the
proposed boundaries; and
WHEREAS. said territory proposed to be annexed to said City
of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of California.
and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited territory,
and said petition contained a description of said territory in words
and figures as hereinafter in this Resolution desoribed; and
WHEREAS. the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received that at the time of the filing and receipt of said petition,
it was and now is signed by owners of not less than one-fourth <i)
of the land in the territory by area and by assessed value in the
territory proposed to be annexed, according to the last preoeding
equalized county assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
reoeived and from said petition that at the time of the filing and
presentation of said petition that said new territory proposed to be
annexed to said City of Anaheim did not form a part of any municipal
corporation and that said territory was uninhabited and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS. the City Council finds from said petition and
evidenoe and reports reoeived that the boundaries of the territory
SO proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim are as follows.

CHAPMAN - HARBOR BOULEVARD ANNEXATION
That parcel of land l~cated in the County of Orange, State of California,
being a portion of the south half of Section 27, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southeast corner of the existing City limit lines
as established by the South Anaheim Annexation to the City of Anaheim,
passed by Ordinance No. 1032, December 27, 1955, and filed with the
Secretary of State January 30, 1956, said point of beginning being the
northeast corner of the swt of the SEt of Section 27, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian; thence,
J. Westerly along the exi,:,ting City of Anaheim city limits lines, being also
the southerly line of the Nt of the st of said Section 27, to the point
of Intersection with a line parallel with and 30.00 feet westerly of the
east line of the swt of said Section 27, said point of Intersection being
in the existing City limit lines of the City of Garden Grove as set forth
in the proceeding of the incorporation and acknowledged by the Board
of Supervisors of Orange County by Resolution adopted February 10, 1956; thence,
2. Southerly and easterly along and contiguous with said Garden Grove City
limit line to its intersection with the east line of the swt of the SEt of
said Section 27; thence,
3. Northerly along the last mentioned east line to the point of beginning.

NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that such pr~poBed annexation be designated as
"CHAPMAN-HAjffiOR BQjJLEVARD _A.NNmTIilli'~c~~>~_,_~ and. that
notice of such proposed annexation be hereby given as hereinafter
pro'l!ided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing shall be had
upon the date set" not leaa than forty (40) nor more than sixty (60)
days after the passage of this Resolution, unless the owner or owners
of all of the territory to be annexed have petitioned for annexation
or filed their consents to such armexatlon9 in writing. with the City
Council, in which event the hearing shall be set at any time after
compliance with SecUor: 353Ll of the Government Code.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does find
that the owner or owners of all of the terrl tory proposed to be

who has filed his name and address and the designation ot lands in
