RESOLUTION NO. 5442
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUlHORIZING THE :mEASURER OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM TO PROCEED WITH THE PUBLICA-
TION OF NOTICE UNDER SECTIONS 50050-50053 OF
THE mVERNMENT CODE TO ACCOMPLISH A TRANSFER
OF MONIES FROM THE DEPOSITOR'S TRUST FUND TO
THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, the Depositor's Trust Fund has contained, for
over a period of ten years, sums of monies which have remained
unclaimed after diligent attempts to return said monies to the
proper owners, and
WHEREAS, the cost to the City of Anaheim of maintaining
proper records and seeking out the legal owners to said trust monies
produces excessive costs and is not productive of results,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the ~reasurer of the City of Anaheim is author-
ized to proceed with necessary legal steps to accomplish a transfer
of said monies from the Depositor's Trust Fund to the General Fund
and to publish necessary newspaper notices.
THE FOREmING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
