RESOLUTION NO. 5432
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaqeim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of HEDWIG LANGE, as her sole and
separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for load and public utilitv purooses
and more particu arly described as follows:

An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 40 feet (as measured at
right angles from the monumented center line of Broad-
way Street) of that parcel of land located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at a point 462.17 feet East of the S.W. corner
of Lot 8 of Helen and Lynchs Subdivision of the West t
of Section 16, Township!~ South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M.,
and running thence Northerly to a point in the Southerly
right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad as
conveyed by deed recorded July 17, 1893 and filed in
Book 67, Page 309 of Deeds, records of Orange County,
California; thence, Northwesterly along the said Southerly
right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad to a
point 292 feet East of and 320 feet North of the said
Southwest corner of said Lot 8; thence Westerly 292 feet
to the West line of said Lot 8; thence Southerly along
said West line of Lot 8, 320 feet to the S.W. corner of
said Lot 8; thence along the Southerly line of said Lot
8, 462.17 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be~ and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
