A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILI1Y PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of M. G. McCLARAN, an unmarried
woman.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for road and public utilitr purposes
and more particularly described as fo lows:

An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Westerly 32 feet (as
measured at right angles from the monumented center
line of Loara Street) and the Southerly 45 feet
(as measured at right angles from the monumented
center line of Broadway Street) of that parcel of
land located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The Southerly 350.00 feet of the swi of the NEi of
the NWi of Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
11 th day of August, 1959..
